Te Tiriti O Waitangi - Questions


Hey guys! How are you? I'm Phantasmagorical. Anyway, this week in reading we've been learning about the Te Tiriti O Waitangi (Treaty Of Waitangi.) We did a Kahoot on it and it was lot's of fun. (Kahoot is an online quiz where you can also make your own quizzes.) 
We also read a book called The House That Jack built. It was like a mix of a picture book and a kids poem. It was about how the British came to New Zealand and took over.

The thing that I learnt most about the Treaty Of Waitangi is that the treaty wasn't translated properly into Māori which caused disagreements between the Māori and the Pākehā. On the document below I answered lot's of questions about the Treaty Of Waitangi. We got the questions from another book called Te Tiriti O Waitangi. Here it is...
