The VectorEPro8 Challenge

Hey guys! How are you? I'm Phantasmagorical. Anyway, two weeks ago I went to the VectorEPro8 Challenge for the second time. It is a challenge where there's a whole bunch of teams from a whole lot of schools that have to solve some challenges. There's about 4 challenges with several parts in each. The one our team ended up spending most of our time on was a challenge where you had to wake up Uncle Albert and get him out of bed. We made a whole bunch of circuits and built different structures. We made lights flash, sirens scream and gears pull. It was a whole lot of fun! We came second with 260 points, 50 points behind the winning team. This also means we made it into the semifinals in November so when that happens I'll let you know. Here are some videos and pictures...

The Egg Challenge

Hey guys! How are you? I'm great! Anyway, this week we have been doing the egg challenge. In case you don't know, it is where you get give an egg and have to keep it alive for a period of time. (That means it cannot get broken.) You must always have an active egg-sitter. I left mine at home with my Mum today so I can't use pictures of my own but my good friend Alex let me take pictures of his. (Check out his blog, it's really cool.) We also had to make our own containers to keep the egg safe. Here are the pictures...

Literacy Tumble
